Both of my sons have hypoplasia rather than hyperplasia-  still adrenal insuff, but no excess androgens- the adrenals are "defective" so they produce all the adrenal hormones in smaller amounts across the board.  There are instances where boys (x linked disorder) aren’t diagnosed until puberty-  it is worth asking your endo about it.  Both my boys are small for their age-  Best wishes- Gwen
