I’m not new age but I do think that the thyroid does have something to do with the pull and phases of the moon.

I also wonder about the thyroid and the adrenal axis - adrenal fatigue and what if anything t3 can do. I’m pretty mellow about all this and just go by feel pretty good so must be Ok. How much really does it help when our adrenal gland is helped along by drugs and then the thyroid gets all wacky as well. Thyroid people are a trip and the snipping over armour and synthroid is just as entertaining as the CAH surgery info. Adrenal fatigue and the thyroid is interesting stuff then along come us with CAH already having an adrenal gland that needs help ....sooo it’s like added more to the pot.

I don’t know if this will help you or even if it really matters with the amount of corticosteriods that we take but I read that "corticosteriods - these can suppress TSH and interfere with thyroid hormone production in the body."
