re: high blood pressure (I know, it’s already been discussed, but...)

I do think that I’ve read that either calcium or magnesium supplements can help lower blood pressure. You would need to ask your doctor, though, to find out how much would be appropriate for your daughter’s age and size. I believe they can check both of those levels in the blood to see if she’s deficient. Does she have high aldosterone? That goes along with high blood pressure and has to do with regulating salt in the body. However, people with CAH usually have low aldosterone. Can they try lowering her Florinef just a little? Also, there is a surprising amount of sodium in all kinds of foods. Do you keep an eye on how much she is getting in her diet? I hope they can figure something out soon. What is the doctor saying to do? Is she on BP medication?
