DarleneHi Kirk,
Funny you mention this. Our 4 yr old-SWCAH- (who will turn 5 in June) lost his first tooth almost 2 weeks ago and his 2nd tooth a few days ago. He had a minor collision with a friend that resulted in the 2nd one becoming loose, but that 1st one was all ready by itself & underneath, there is a tooth coming out. Coincidentally, we saw his dentist for a regular check-up right before the teeth came out & he said there was nothing to be concerned about. I hear the average age is 6-7, but my mom tells me I lost my first tooth around 5-6. My sons (and myself also) got their baby teeth early and quickly (mouthful at 1 year old). So I think it may be more a case of genetics, but I’m interested to hear what others say. My 4 year old is loving the "rewards" from the tooth fairy -so much so that he kept wiggling that 2nd tooth out. My 2yr old even pretends to wiggle his.
Best wishes, Darlene
