Work at Home Success?
Apr. 9th, 2007   3:00pm

One of the challenges I face as a parent to a CAH kid is that *sometimes* there are more trips to the doctors office or the hospital than other times. Sometimes I need to be home during the day due to an illness that needs to be monitored closely.
While many have jobs outside the home and make it work, my question is for those of you that work from home.
How’s it going? Are you able to give the time to the kids AND the job the way you would like? Have you tried several different companies or doing your own thing? Is there any one way that has worked better than another way? I know each situation will work differently for each person. I am looking for general info on what has worked for you.

I myself have decided to become an Usborne Book consultant (I hope you have heard of and seen these books - FANTASTIC products by the way.) Since I am new at it there has been a lot of time during the day that I am online learning. Eventually I will be able to spend a few hours a week with Usborne, the times when its best for me. AND.. if the kid is sick then I can work around it. I am basically my own boss.

So, parents with a CAH child that have also done home based business, has it been successful?
