Re: New Surgery

I am confused. My Doctor’s notes said to have the two surgeries done seperately. The clitoralplastie now and the opening later. My daughter has CAH and is 4 years old. Bone age 5 years. Why put her under twice. Don’t some kids hit puberty at 8. Why not do them together? Put her under only once. What would be the reason to wait on the second surgery? You need that opening to menstrate, it is not like you can wait for her to have a say if she wants the opening or not. Right? I am confused? Would she maybe have to be stretched if it wasn’t large enough if made when she is only 4 or so. Please help if you can. I am on lay-off and would like to get the surgery done soon.

Thanks
