I agree totally that she should have the surgery as soon as possible. I had mine done when I was 2 or 3 and I can’t really remember any of it. However, I did have to have further surgery when I was about 13 or so. The doctors told me that it wouldn’t have been possible to ensure that it was all ’present and correct’ at such a young age, hence having to have more surgery. Don’t worry if she has to have more surgery, with lots of support she’ll get through it fine. From how my gynaecologist spoke, even if I hadn’t needed further surgery I would have needed to ’stretch’ down there. Aslong as the doctors know that she may need further surgery and you can support her, there’s nothing to worry about. Really! =]eleanor_rigby
