Congrats on the new baby, they are definitely little blessings!  I’m glad that she was able to pull through such a bad crisis.  I hope she is doing better now.

My daughter is 5 months old and has SWCAH and the reason we knew she was probably going to have it is for the fact that I have grown up my whole entire life with SWCAH.   I, myself, have had times where I feel self conscious and like a walking alien, but ever since I met my husband, I have felt differently.  I have come to accept this and to realize that its not as bad as I made it out to be. 

I had virilization and I had to undergo surgery when I was younger to correct my problems.  That always made me a bit self conscious, but now I am trying to  look at the positive, rather than the bad.  If you just support her and encourage her to feel good about herself when she is down, you’ll do fine.  Just take care of her and make her take her medication.  I was always a very rebellious child and would fight my mother on it, but she was always right there sticking a pill down my throat, so that I wouldn’t disobey.  If you ever need anything or want any questions answered..
