Hey All just a little info about me. I had a DD in July. She had ambiguiou(sp?) genetalia when she was born and was diagnosed with SWCAH. She has been on her meds and is doign GREAT. Until Wednesday. I noticed that her soft spot was swollen. It took me back cause I had never seen that. I gave the endo a call and she told me to go to the ER. I did and they did a head CT. They saw a swollen ventricle. But she was exibiting no signs of any problem. No fever and she was acting like she normally does. They wanted to keep her over night for visitation. The next am (thursday) they said they wanted to do an MRI because they had no idea why her fontanele was bulging. It really perplexed them. Well MRI must have been really busy yesterday so we stayed another day in the hospital. Now I am waiting to take her for her MRI. They have told me to stop feeding her cause they have to put her under for a short time. By looking at her you would never knwo something was wrong. So scarry. I called Kelly light at CARES and she said she has never heard of a link between CAH and swollen fontaneles. She did have her shots (imunizations) on Monday but not sure if that is a link either. Just please say a prayer/sne dyoru positive thought to us :( I will update as soon as I can. Thanks
