We didn’t get a Medic Alert bracelet for my CAH child until he was over a year old. I think i was mainly in denial, but he is almost 13 now and it stays on him all the time.

As far as the solu-cortef. Up until he was about 5 (when we finally stopped having the scary episodes) I carried the syringe, needle and solu-cortef with me in his diaper bag. You can ask your physician to give you an Rx for these items and I kept a set at home and a set in his diaper bag, so it went everywhere he went. I never had to use it, thankfully. I had it on hand in case we ever had a crisis, but we were always at a medical facility when it happened, so we finally tossed it out. That was a nice feeling!

Good luck.
