re: can we ever have children?

Are you saying, Heather, that you will not marry this man because of his CAH, but you will have a baby with him?? If you’re concerned that he might be dead the next day, why would you want to have a child with him? Why would you want to put yourself and your child through something like that?? The pain will not be any less if you’re married or not.

That said, if you love this man, why would you not encourage him to go to the doctor? Saying that it’s his body and his choice is a cop -out, in my opinion. Conversely, if he loves you, why is he not taking care of himself .... especially if he thinks he might be leaving not only you, but a child behind as well?? He is acting very selfishly in my opinion .... only thinking of himself.

If he takes his meds as he should, he will likely be able to have children; if not, probably not. But as Laura mentioned, that is the least of his/problems. Please get him to read all of these posts, to check out : http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Canyon/7906/index.html and ask him to please get back on his meds, before he’s another statistic!!!

Praying for you both,

Wendy-Lee
