Ginny’s in the emergency room
May. 7th, 2007   10:41am

She went to a friends house yesterday, I were told about 1:30 in the afternoon that she’d lost the medicine she took with her. When they brought her home we gave her her meds then, but apparently the stress of playing at her friends house (and probably lack of sleep, which happens on sleep overs) took its toll and she started throwing up at about 2am. We gave her another doze, but half an hour later she threw up again. We gave her the Phenergan, but she kept throwing up. Even after we gave her the shot she still threw up, 10 minutes after the shot and then again a half an hour later in the car and Linda was heading to the emergency room.

They have her on a cortisol IV and she’s sleeping, but this’ll be the last of her sleep-overs for some time. She’s got a very assertive personality and she know how to make it hard to say no. She (at nine) will make all the arrangements and then inform us of her plans, and by that point it’s up to me to say no, because my wife never has the strength to.
