KatrinaDanny and Family,
I too will be praying for all of you. The time at the hospital, and immediately following are always exhausting for me, so I can certainly empathize with you.
Sometimes I just have to smile at the thought of all of these "tween" girls who seem so similar. Just two weeks ago I had a similar issue with my daughter, who just turned 10. She keeps a watch alarm set for her med times. She was at a sleep over and when her alarm went off for her nighttime med she decided she was "too busy" to stop what she was doing to go take it. She forgot and went all night without it! She called me in the morning, very upset and frantic. (I thought it was great she understood the gravity of forgetting.) Luckily, she didn’t have any ill effects from the mistake. I told her she now has to prove herself to me again, at home, under my supervision. It hasn’t been a popular decision at our house either, but she understands.
Again, here’s hoping for a speedy recovery, some much needed rest, and a lot of nights at home with the family! Good Luck! : )
God Bless,
Katrina
