Ginny’s home. She’s worn out and tired, and has been sleeping a lot. Linda took the day off work, but she has a flexible FMLA so she can take the paperwork in and it’s counted as a vacation day, even though she didn’t call it in until after work started.

Linda leaves Sunday to spend a week in Phoenix building Habitat for Humanity homes. Since it’s through her job, she gets paid as if she’s at work, but gets to spend the evenings in a nice hotel, but away from the family. She did the same thing last year only in Nashville. Anyway, it makes me a little nervous that this may be a bug, since I’ll have the kids by myself all week and if they start getting sick it’ll be hectic.

It happened once before that Ginny and Jonathan got sick almost at the same time. Linda was already at the ER with Ginny when Jonathan got sick. I had to call my dad to come pick up Jonathan and take him, since we had only one car and he preferred that to loaning me his car while he watched the other two kids. In that instance, Linda was already there at the ER. If the same thing happens again, it could be tricky.
