This may be a stupid question but why did you have the urine test done? Is this the way you always check your daughter’s levels? Or is this something you choose to do once a year or did something prompt you to do it this way? Or did your endo. order this? I ask because I just am not satisfied with this bloodwork thing. Like my daughter’s endo. says, it is really just as snap shot of the entire picture sorta say. I want the whole picture. You read on this board that some get blood work before meds. are given in the morning, some get blood work done any time they have time any time of the day. Some get it early morning. Everyone seems to do it different. It bothers me. I often wonder what is the right way. We have gone at the same time since she was born. Just to be consistant. Have you noticed a big difference in the blood work results verses the hour 24 urine? If I can remember but of course my brain is fried, but I thought that with this urine test the sodium is a hard one to read because if you intake so much sodium, you are going to output a certain amount. Not sure where I got that from or if I got it all wrong. I will have to ask her endo. next visit. But wouldn’t that make sense? What if the day your child goes for this 24 hour urine, they have a salty diet that day? Wouldn’t that throw it off? I don’t know.Laura
