Hi again, You know I am curious about cortef... I tried it once a while back... though I had some problems and I think it was related to the antacid I took with it that had nutrasweet in it (the stuff gives me migraines). My thyroid was on the way out at that time too.

I think I have a prescription of it still here at home from 1 1/2 years ago - though I never did retry it at that point. I saw my endo a week ago - and I am oversupressed again. My 17OHP was 80 (that’s being on .5 of Dex elixir)- which my endo thought was fantastic - not for me - mine needs to be around 200 or so. I’ve slowly been putting on weight... it’s the steroids.

So how do you gals get up and take cortef at 3am? Do you have problems going back to sleep. That seems like it would be hard to do. What other times do you take your meds? I may just try it again (if I can get up the nerve)
