For the first couple of months after my daughter was born and diagnosed she was tested every couple of weeks. Then it was every 3 months for many years, now at 7 years old she is tested every four months. If there is a dosage change we do another blood draw after 4-6 weeks and get the results over the phone. It does get easier. Hang in there. Julia
