Happy Mother’s day to the both of you.

Megan, funny that you have already had your mother’s day and I am just waking up to mine! I have got to make it down there one day to see you! I’ll have to bring Taty back a pet wombat, lol, just kidding. It will have to be when the weather is cool though cause I just can’t stand the heat. You’ll have to fill me in on the air conditioning situation down there.

I’m sorry that you are having such a hard time. I do wonder if that too is in my future. My mother is just a carrier and suffers from fatigue as do many of her sisters. I have just started back working at a health facility doing massage therapy, whuch is grueling work. I am wiped out at the end of the day and even into the next. I’m hoping I just have to get back into shape for the endurance.  But I do have the chance in the near future to work full time (for health insurance) I hope that I can actually hang in there.  Megan, I know you would like to work, but why do that to yourself? Take this opportunity to use that time to enjoy life. Do the things that working people have no time to do.....like smell the flowers. Funny how people that work envy the people that get to stay home. I’m sure there is plenty you can do workwise from home. You are so intellegent and have a wonderful way with words. Maybe you should write a book :o)  Here is another hug just for Mother’s day! I wish your sister well, I hope her surgery goes well. Let meknow how it goes.

Susan, I do set an alarm at 3am to take 7.5mg. Cause I would just sleep right through since I usually don’t get up in go to the "loo" during the night. (my other doses are at 5mg at 10-11am, then at 2.5 at 4-5pm) When I first started I would set the alarm to medium static, so to not startle myself awake. I was on Dex then and at first I would wake up with my heart racing. I started doing this for myself first, then later on started doing it for my daughter. I would put a thermos of milk on my nightstand and set one pill out, take it and go back to sleep. Then I started using my cell phone alarm with a normal alarm. You should see me dragging myself through the house. I don’t turn on any bright lights or even open my eyes when I open the fridge door for the milk, so the bright light does not stimulate my eyes, anyway I take my pill, then carry a pill and a cup of milk to my daughter. Now that sometimes can be funny. You should see what she does in her sleep sometimes! Like trying to figure out how to open the cup of milk from the bottom!  I usually go right back to sleep.

On another note, I need to get my labs done...even though I can’t afford it right now. Since taking the generic hydrocortisone instead of cortef,  I have been a little more tired I think. I’m not really sure if it’s that, or my work, or having to wake up at least twice a night with this baby :o) Most of that all started around the time time. Anyway ladies, take care. I wish we were not so far apart.......
