Sneak Preview of a new site!

Sometimes ideas hit me, and it doesn’t take long to put it into action. Monday we went shopping and I noticed something amusing about one of my kids. Then I thought how I really should be writing stuff like that down so we could read over it someday in the future. Even my child would be able to look back over interesting details of their childhood. Then I said to myself, why not...

And so I created http://BiographyJournal.com. It goes beyond blogging and provides a way for parents to record the events of their child’s life to keep for the future.

The basic setup is ready, but there are several features I need to add. I want to make it so that Journals can be completely private if chosen. I’d like to have the most read and highest rated entries of the day, week month, etc listed.

If you want to create an account now, you can (it’s free) and for those with more than one child, you can either create multiple accounts, or separate the entries about the individual children by creating categories for them.

I’m excited about the opportunity this provides, because the wealth of information someone would have after years of their parents making journal entries about their life just amazes me.

The motto for the site is...

Everyone’s life story is a best seller

...because I fully expect one or more of the journals one day becoming just that.
