Have they eliminated the possibility of her having MRSA, VRE or anything else nasty in the wound?

My sister is due to have knee replacement/s on Monday and fortunately her current endo has reduced her Dex dose to the minimum the past two years so hopefully she won’t have a wound healing problem. Previous to the dose reduction of Dex she had terribly thin skin and was constantly needing sutures to sew up her skin tears.
