The doctor has taken cultures, but the results are not in yet. She was on Septra or Bactrim (they filled it generically, so I’m not sure which one it is) twice a day for 24 days straight, came off it for about a week, and then went back on it because it was oozing.  Finally the dr decided he would have to open it up.  When he did he found a pocket deep inside that had not healed and from what I understand, appeared to have some infection.  As soon as the results are in, he will let us know.
