Rhonda,

We went last year with our 2 SWCAH children, ages 6 and 3. It was for the natural history study. We had a great experience. Carol Van Ryzin is just an angel and yes we stayed at the Children’s Inn. This place is wonderful. The kids had a great time at the Inn. Our trip consisted of 2 REALLY busy days at the clinical center having all kinds of tests run. We left home on a Monday and got back on Thursday. But they are very organized and the whole place is so kid friendly. Each different area we went to for testing had something to entertain the kids. And there really was not a whole lot of time sitting around in waiting rooms, which was good. But I can’t say enough about everybody at NIH. We found out that both kids were on double the amount of cortef that they should be on. It was just so good to be with people that know SO MUCH about CAH!! We are due to go back in July or August. Good Luck!!
