We had the same situation arround the same time. The vommiting our son grew out of but the extream thirst was from way way to much sodium. Every time he ate we would have to keep him very still for about 30 minutes after, and could not even think of giving him meds untill after the 30 minutes. Just be sure before giving to much sodium.
