Danny, I am so sorry that this happened.  I know it must be devasting, but be assured that God has a plan.  I agree that you should seek legal advice.  There must be someone you can go to who will work on a contingency basis - maybe even somewhere you can go for free legal advice as to how to handle this.  What about applying for unemployment?  The work she does for the elderly woman on the weekend - is she actually on a payroll for that or does the lady pay her in cash?  Maybe she could collect unemployment - it would help.  As for doctor and hospital bills, I know that when my mother-in-law was living, she had difficulty paying bills after a hospital stay and surgery because she had little or no insurance.  She spoke to the dr and he charged a minimal amount and the hospital wrote off her balance.  They have to take a certain number of cases for free - some government regulation.  Also, since your child was in the emergency room when Ginny was employed, I would think the insurance would cover that - except for a co-pay.  If you need meds, you can contact the pharmaceutical companies and they have programs to make sure you get the meds if you can’t afford them.  Then there is always family, friends, church members who I am sure will help if you need it.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers that Ginny will find an even better job and that if you decide to take legal action you will be successful.  That company should have to pay for what they have done to your wife and your family.
