Ok deep breath in and out.....................................

I am about to lose it on someone. DD is 10 months old and was born with ambigious genetalia when she was born. WEll last week she went for a regular endo apt. and for of course some blood work. Well they also wanted some urine. WHAT A JOKE!!!! ok put on the bag and for an hour she doesnt pee. We go home and I check the bag she peed a little but also pooped so sample was no good. Doc called me a few days ago and tells me they want to do some more blood work. NP I say and I tell her about the sample of urine. She also says she wants to run another test to see if she has congenital adrenal hyperplasia. WHAT !!!!!!! Ok I know when DD was in the hospital at birth they did a stim test. (was told that this was CAH)SO I was totally thrown for a loop. I heave been having a few really bad days. SO it is possible that I may have misenterprited what she said. I went back today for the extra blood work and to ask ??’s. Well Doc was in a meeting but I relayed my fears to the nurse. I wasnt’ sure if maybe she meant that they want to see if she was 21 hydrox. Or 17 hydrox defficent. But should they already knwo that???REally treating her for this long and they may not know if it is 17 or 21?? Doc said the test will take 3 weeks to come back. I am just dumb founded. Of course it is now past hours and I will not hear anythign till Tuesday. Oh and we are trying to get another urine sample today which is NOT workign again. The urine just comes out the back of the bag.

I am just at my whits end. To top it all off DH is not being helpful at all. I am expected to handle it all. Heck he doesn even know the name of the 2 drugs she takes. Gosh it has to get better right?? It is almost like things get magically taken care of. She is healthy today because of me and the way I take care of her.

Also my DD needs some minor surgery. And the Doc. ( different doctors office) ignores my calls!! Just dosent care to call me back. I have never ever been mean to them so this is so crazy. Her surgery is suposed to be 5 weeks and I havent heard ANYTHING from insurance that this was even pre approved. Absolutley nothing. ANd I have waited 6 months for this surgery cause the doc is so busy. I am totally utterly at my whits end. IF the surgery doenst happen when it was scheduled for then I dotn[’ know when I will be able to get it done for her AND I will have no help. (family is comming to help in July but the reservations are already made and not able to undo them) PLUS we have a DD who is in school and with the surgery we will need someone to be home to take care of the kids because DH works.

AHHHHHHHHHHH calgon take me away!!!!
