Danny and Linda and family...... I am so sorry to hear about your hardship and Linda’s job loss. My prayers are with you and your family and I pray that this does not destroy her faith in humanity  .... my husband went through the same thing with his job loss and somehow we are making it through and our faith has been restored in believing in people and reasoning WHY things happen. Life can be very cruel and when it gets tough it is hard to understand HOW another human being can be so cruel and vindictive. But , Linda is a better person and you both give so much to others I HAVE to believe it will come back to you. There is a reason for everything in the path of God and he will lead you through this and you will be a much stronger and enriched person for KNOWING in your heart you are doing all the right things. Seek counsel and pray. Time will heal your heart and make your family well in spirit.
