My son started growth hormone in January (he is turning 11 tomorrow!). His bone age is 13 1/2. His bone age has been 13 1/2 since he is 7 years old. He has been oversupressed (which slows down growth), he has NC CAH (which takes away inches), and he is on steroids (which takes away inches). Since January he has grown an inch. His predicted height without growth hormone is 5’1", give or take a couple of inches. I feel like we don’t have a choice but to give it to him. So far, no side effects.
