I just want to say that I am totally losing my mind. Things have calmed down a lot since Solly was born with SWCAH. The medication has become pretty routine now. We don’t have to feed him salt anymore because he gets it in his food, I am not worried all the time anymore, I see him as a normal kid, etc...BUT we just took the three kids to a day at Hershey Park (amusement park). It was HOT!! Very Very Hot! I started thinking about Solomon becoming dehydrated and getting over heated and the sun exposure. Oy vey! I had him covered in sunscreen, but I kept pouring water over his head to cool him off and kept trying to get him to drink--he didn’t want to drink. I tried to get him to eat little pieces of apple...anyway, long story short, I have got to relax. A trip to Hershey Park was more than I thought and we are about to go to Bolivia. Tell me if I am being nuts, but I’m thinking I should put cortef in each piece of luggage in case one gets lost. I will have no way to get more cortef while I am there so I thought this might be a good idea.
