Seizure attack
Jun. 6th, 2007   8:36am

Thankyou so much all of you. I have been reading messages posted by all of you and have been monitoring my daughter on the same lines as most of you have suggested. We are giving her small meals throughout the day and keeping an eye on her sugar level.  We visited her Endo and she suggested that we keep her hyderated and well fed. The Endo couldnt explain why the sugar went that low but thats what she suggested to keep it up.

I checked her sugar yesterday early morning and it was 66. All day yesterday we tried to give her small meals after short intervals and she had some milk (1/2 cup) before she went to bed. Her sugar this morning was 77 - which I think is still slightly below the minium (80).

Now what bothers me is that if she misses a meal for whatever reason, her sugar level is going to drop, especially if that is her dinner. Also there is no other way than poking her finger everyday, to see if she is maintaining her sugar level. Will we have to do this everyday?
