1) what does swcah stand for? 2) my husband is 42 now and as a child he played sports, but also became extremely tired and knew his limits. he learned his limits quickly. as long as he took his medication, was well-rested and hydrated appropriately he did well. certainly, as a child, any exposure to the flu, etc.. was stressful to his parents, but you will become used to letting your grandson have a "normal" existance. just offer him the foods and drinks that he will need to keep properly hydrated, i.e. electrolytes, salt, etc.... good luck. he will be just fine!!
