I have just recently found out that my son, Ben (6months) has CAH. He developed pubic hair at the ripe old age of 3.5months. I didn't think much of it until I went to the child health nurse - I thought it was just his hormones out of whack - and I was right - but I thought it was just a passing thing. I didn't see a doctor about it until he was 5months old. I feel like I should have known and I've made it worse etc etc. The confirmatory blood tests actually come back today although the endocrinologist was fairly certain the results would confirm CAH.
I was wondering what your introduction to CAH was for yourselves and your children? And also, if anyone knows the prevalence of the condition in Australia?
