I live in Perth. I had never heard of CAH before and then went looking it up on the NET - which was probably a very bad idea because I then completely freaked out! Now - when people say "My - isn't he big for 6 months!" etc, I cringe. He is in the 80th percentile for all his indicators.
But you are right - at the hospital when he got his last round of blood tests, it was evident that Ben really isn't all that sick - it could be a whole lot worse. Hopefully the endocrinologist will have some good news about the severity of Ben's CAH? Do you know how the genetics side of it works - my husband and I are trying to work it out - is it a recessive condition, therefore we both have it? And I am really not to sure about the different types - SWCAH, LOCAH etc...
