My daughter is taking 2.5mg in the morning and 2.5mg at night of the Pred and half of a .5mg tablet of the Dex. She has been doing this since the end of April. The Dr. just started my son on the Same doses of both and I hope he doesn't have the same reaction. We are going to the Dr today and to get new labwork done. The Nurse recently admitted that the Renin had been done wrong and so she had to write out the lab instructions. I will let everyone know what I find out from the Dr.
My daughter recently reported to the school that my husband had harmed her. The dates and times of the eleged incidences she describes do not make sense. I read on the net that Dexamethasone can make you have psychotic manifestation of not being treated well. CPS is now involved and my husband was forced out of our home. Of course CPS doesn't understand her medical condition or know anything about the medications. I am hopeing the Dr. can shed some light.
