re: re: Medic Alert Bracelet or Anklet??
Nov. 19th, 2002   3:24am

Hi Penny

Our daughter, Grace, has worn the Medic Alert bracelet since she was about 8 months old, it has never bothered her and she has never asked to have it taken off.  She is now 3.5 years old and we are on our second one because the first one got scratched and hard to read, so we got the mediallion from Medic Alert and took her to the jeweller to help pick out a nice chain.  She wears it on her wrist and only a handful of people at playgroup have ever asked what it is for.   We felt it was necessary for her to have the bracelet in case we were all in a car accident and both my husband and I were unconscious and unable to give instructions on her treatment.  I can't see any reason why your daughter couldn't wear one on her ankle, it's quite trendy these days!

Jenni
