An anklet would be way more obvious than a bracelet as heaps of kids wear bracelets but you don't see many with anklets on. It's not a big hassle. If people are nosey just say she has a medical condition, takes to long to explain the details, shrug and smile and most people are happy with that and leave it alone. If you get someone pushy tell them you don't want to go in to details.
