My eldest son who is 4 has SWCAH but I am over in WA. We get the disability allowance ($85 a fortnight) and a health care card. I know though from previous postings not every CAH child seems to get this for some unknown reason. I don't know if I was just lucky my doctor ticked the right boxes or whether it was processed differentlt. Who knows but I'm not complaining, It definately helps with the private health cover payments along with the many trips to the doctors, hospital, chemist etc !!!
