re: I'm 14 and i may be lactose and tolerant........what can i do so i don't get osteoperosis?????

Has this just started to happen?  I would have thought that if you were lactose intolerant then it would have affected you from birth.  I may be wrong.  Go to your GP, he/she may be able to suggest some things.  Maybe a dietician may also be a good person to talk to about your diet and ways of increasing calcium.  I guess there would also be calcium tablets, however I'm not sure if they would affect you the same way dairy products do.   It is definately something worth following through with your doctor though and if you can't see your Endo for 6 months, try your GP.

Good luck.

Jenni
