Need Help-Recently Diagnosed with CAH. May. 21st, 2004 11:39am
Hi im jo and im 17 years old,and was recently diagnosed with CAH. When i found out that i had this condition i was worried and upset but relieved in a way because i can finally put a name to what i have. At first i was said to have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and was left un-treated for years but further tests confirmed i have CAH . I havn't taken any medication yet and i was persribed with 'Dexamethasone' (hope i spelt it right) and not sure about it and its effects if anyone knows anything about this medication? or is taking it? could you please give me any information about it, im trying to understand my condition more and need your help,because im feeling really depressed..
