Thanks for your reply, I too think most of this is just pressures from SACE - year 12 etc. As for teenage problems, we've been going through this since age 2 when first signs showed up, eg percosious puberty. Believe me, acne on a child in Kindergaton, and being 2 foot above the height of others is quite difficult to explain to other un-knowledgable parents. For her it was no run in the park! Our daughter is a very loving and intelligent girl, with a very mature approach to life ( she's needed this through-out her childhood.) Have showed her this website so hopefully she can speak to other sufferers when she needs to. Just a note, when she was diagnosed, there were no other sufferers of CAH known by her specialist in Aust. at the time.
