re: Anyone see article on CAH in current Womans Day?
Jan. 25th, 2005   6:05am
I saw it as well.  The previous week in the New Idea there was an article on a person who wrote a book about Princess Diana and it also mentioned that the author (a female) was raised as a boy, attended an all-boy school, because she had a fused labia and enlarged clitoris at birth.   They even pumped male hormones into her in her teens when she started to display her "feminine" side.  It wasn't until she was about 20 that she found out that she was in fact a girl and had corrective surgery.  They didn't actually mention CAH but it sounded like it.  This lady is now in her 50's, is divorced, has two adopted sons and lives in England.  Interesting that these two articles appeared two weeks in a row and I haven't seen anything about CAH in any magazine before.
