Dear Kelly,

The outcomes re: puberty, adulthood and pregnancy/fertility etc are improving all the time for females with CAH.

I am almost 36 and expecting my 2nd child and have conceived and carried both (so far) with no problems with my CAH at all, even when I delivered my little girl last year.  Puberty had its problems like any teenager and life always depends on the individual as much as the medical side of things.

I know there is a long way to go but I know that we start to imagine the whole of life even when they are still within so I am sure you have already begun to wonder about the rest of life.

There are lots of Mums in just your situation and Linda is a great person for you to talk to.  I would encourage you to attend the symposium if you have the means and the circumstances.  It is a wonderful thing to actually meet people face to face and have that connection with people that are going through the same situations.
