Hi ?

Parents don't always have control over what their children say and do, particularly during teenage years and I prefer to say that our CAH kids are a 'bit more special than most' because that they are special to us, not just 'different'.  I can say from growing up with CAH that I always felt 'different' and no-one made me feel special or that life was worth living, so I would like young people and children in these days to have a much higher opinion of themselves and their place in the world.

I was once told by a doctor that if 'people with disorders like CAH didn't have children then these disorders would eventually die out', it made me feel selfish and guilty for my dreams of a family when we are entitled to our dreams as much as the next person.
