re: skin effect of medicine
Jul. 16th, 2005   4:04am

Hi,

We have a 8 mth old daughter who is SWCAH. When she was younger she had dark hair on her shoulders and on her forehead. I thought it might be CAH related but our Paed advised not so. It has now disappeared and I believe it was just a normal baby thing. As fas as skin goes she developed eczema at 5 months. Her skin is very dry. I am keeping it under control with emu oil three times a day (rubbed into skin). Have also changed washing powder and keeping her in cotton etc. I do not think this is med related as I had eczema when I was little.
