TO LILEA re: re: re: Medication timing and stomachs.
Jul. 21st, 2005   12:42pm

Hi Lilea,

I myself have not been on the board for a few weeks and just saw your post on 11th July.  It was really nice meeting everyone at the conference.  I have tried your suggestion with the hydro mixed in breastmilk but am finding the suspension mix working very well (until she is old enough to swollow tablets).  Emily had her operation last Friday and all went very well.  It is such a relief that that's all done now (feel a huge weight lifted from my shoulders and my anxiety has gone).  She only stayed in hospital overnight and had her catheta removed after 5 days.  She really is such a great baby - we didn't even have any upset nights (she still slept through) fed & took her meds as normal.  Hope your pregnancy is going well and you are not too tired.  I really found the conference to be very beneficial and well worth the trip down from Qld.  It put my mind at ease about many issues. I really feel I've come to terms with the CAH thing and it's not a such a big issue anymore, (although I do have that dreaded adrenal crisis in the back of my mind).   Thanks to everybody Steve & I met in Melbourne and look forward to future conferences.

Kelly
