re: re: New Baby girl - unsure about surgery
Oct. 20th, 2005   9:13am

Hi Amy

I too have a 7mth SWCAH daughter.  She had her surgery at 4mths old which for my husband and I wasn't a hard decision but still very anxious at the time.  The surgeon was fantastic.  When she came out of recovery she fed straight away which was a good sign.  We were admitted Friday morning and home by Saturday lunch time.  We just took lots of care and gave her daily salt baths.  I could not believe her recovery rate not to mention her appearance now which people don't even notice.  I can understand your anxiety and hope our positive outcome helps you in some way.  Good luck

Kelly
