re: New Baby girl - unsure about surgery
Nov. 7th, 2005   8:25am

Hi Amy

My husband and I have two children with swcah.  Our daughter is now 10 and had surgery at 3 months and then again at 5 months.  I feel having the surgery done while she was young and won't remember it was the best thing we could have done.  Now it is over and done with and we won't have to put her through all of that in her teenage years when it would be harder for her to cope with.  Good luck with your decision. By the way the surgery went really well and she has suffered no ill effects from it.
