re: Toddlers & colds
Apr. 10th, 2006   5:02am

Hi Michelle

I remember when my kids were toddlers and going to daycare they always had colds too.  They probably do pick up more colds and viruses going to a daycare centre but this is not a bad thing.  Your childs immune system will be much better for it.  My kids rarely get sick these days and they are both at school full time.  Kids who are sheltered from getting colds etc before they are school age are just delaying getting all these things.  They will still get them but when they start school. Although it can be frustrating it would be worse when they are school age and missing out on their lessons due to being sick.
