re: re: Toddlers & colds

We have 3 daughters, eldest one SWCAH, the other two nonCAH.  All our children picked up colds and bugs going around when they were young.  Our children didn't go into daycare until they were 3 or 4 so I can't comment on that.  As they have gotten older the colds and bugs have become less frequent.  Two of them are in school and 1 in day care.   I think it's just a natural thing that as children get older their immune system develops and they are less likely to get sick.   Our 7 year old SWCAH daughter is now on a record run of nearly 2 years without a hospital visit.
