Reasons for gallstones? sometimes they are just there.
I've read genetics and diet do play a role but just look at it as something to go thru......I think I also read something about the steriods but not to sure about that one . i did read though that people that lose gain lose thru dieting are prone to gallstones and also alchohol drinking is a factor. The gastro doc stated it was a very common condition and the primary on the case even said that some people do it as an elective.
I would say if you are going in for awhile then bring books or something to do. I actually felt really good but because of the infection was in the hospital for the ten days people usually get out in 3 to 7. I also had gale stones still stuck in the common bile duct and they wanted me to stay for more tests to get them out. I was probly more sick than I actually knew hehe
They did a great job with me and I could say that the gall bladder stay actually was fun but I was edgy for all the hydro and bouncing off the walls with no place to burn it off which made me irritable and I wanted back to my job - I'm poor and just started a new job.
I take hydro and synthroid for the thyroid .....I do the best I can.
I've met fat people that got their thyroid out but I've also met thin people.
