re: re: Gallstones and HRT
May. 30th, 2006   6:42am

Hi aimee,

Seems like you had a good experience in hospital. I have been in hospital and would rather stay far away from the place, if possible. HRT (hormone replacement therapy) is something we all do when you take medication to treat CAH. I take dexa and idont know how much that will affect the gallbladder and liver. But i have read that taking the pill can be a cause for gallstones. I used to take the pill to keep my skin clear because it was one major symptom of CAH for me. I wish i was never on it, because ive had problems with it after stopping it. I'm sure i could have done without it.

Bet
